The project started during the first Italian lockdown out of boredom and as an attempt to entertain sick or depressed citizens from their balconies in the city. Trieste sits on hills and I was living on the top floor of a tall building so it was quite easy to reach a vast number of viewers. As you can hear at the end of the video I think people really appreciated it.

The project continued as an artistic act to reestablish our freedom of expression and celebration. I replicated it in Belgrade in January 2022 and it will surely happen again in the future in different cities.
